The Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Event Update (03/21/24): In light of the forecasted severe weather, including heavy rain and thunderstorms, expected to impact our region from Friday to Saturday, we have made the tough but necessary decision to cancel several components of our event. However, we are pleased to announce that we've reimagined the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, allowing our community's children to still partake in the joy and excitement of this cherished tradition.

The expected rainfall, peaking on Friday evening and Saturday morning, will unfortunately severely clash with our event's schedule, making it challenging to proceed as planned. The green spaces at our community center, which serve as the heart of the Easter Egg Hunt and most of our activities, are likely to be unsuitable for use due to the rain. The weather also directly impacts the participation of our vendors and many are now incapable of attending.

While we’re unable to secure an alternative date for the outdoor fun, we are undeterred in our commitment to celebrating the season with our community. We have a wonderful plan in place to ensure the Easter spirit remains strong!

This Saturday, March 23rd, between 9am and 12pm, we are excited to invite you to the Community Center to collect a special Easter Gift for each of your children. The Greene Team is working tirelessly to prepare hundreds of beautiful Easter gift bags which will be filled with not just Easter Eggs but will also include crafts and a few special surprises! Furthermore, we are excited to share that the Easter Bunny will grace us with their presence in the Community Center Gathering Room, offering a delightful photo opportunity. Additionally, we've arranged for talented face painters to be available indoors, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience. As you join us, please enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries, our treat to you for sharing this special day with us.

We're saddened that we can’t enjoy our event outdoors as we usually do, but the joy of Easter and community togetherness is alive and well. We sincerely hope you’ll join us for this adjusted, yet equally heartfelt, celebration.

Join us for a fun-filled morning at the Arbor Greene Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This beloved event will be held at the Arbor Greene Community Center on Saturday, March 23rd, from 9am to 12pm, and it's absolutely free for all Arbor Greene residents!

Join us for a morning filled with egg hunts, smiles, and community spirit at our annual Easter event! This year, we're excited to announce an addition to our festivities: a petting zoo featuring an array of friendly animals including llamas, goats, rabbits, and even giant tortoises. It's a unique opportunity for hands-on learning and fun with some of nature's most interesting creatures.

To ensure that every child gets a chance to participate in the excitement, we've scheduled two egg hunts: the first at 10:00am is specially designed for our little attendees aged 0-5, and the second at 10:30am is for kids aged 6-12. Parents, please remember to bring Easter baskets for your children. We'll also have a few extras on hand, just in case.

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your child's designated hunt time to catch all the action. Plus, don't miss the special moment with the Easter Bunny—perfect for capturing those adorable photos that you'll treasure forever.

Julie Vazquez from 10S4LIFE is thrilled to present "Playin' with my Peeps" once more this year, taking place from 9 AM to 11 AM. Make sure to step out onto Tennis Court 1 during the event to take part in this eggs-citing Easter-themed tennis activity.

But the fun doesn't stop there! We've also lined up a variety of activities to keep the whole family entertained throughout the event, including face painters, bouncy houses, music from a professional DJ, Easter crafts, community-favorite food trucks, and much more.
