Good afternoon,

There are many residents cleaning up and helping each other to try and bring our properties back to some form of normality. It is a great feeling of community with these kind acts and seeing so many people offering their assistance. Please continue to “Think Safety First” when using chainsaws, moving debris, driving the roads, etc.

A lot of questions have come up regarding yard waste removal. Below are some updates and guidelines per Republic Services. Republic Services will continue their normal routes within Arbor Greene this Thursday, which means yard waste and trash collection. However, they did say that if you have an excess of recycle material that you may sit you recycle container out with your trash and they will pick it up as waste that will go to the landfill. If you can wait until Monday for recycle, please set your recycle containers out at that point.

DO NOT THROW OR BLOW ANY DEBIS INTO THE STORMDRAINS – THIS CAN INHIBIT THE FLOW OF WATER AND CAUSE FLOODING.

While cleaning up, here are the guidelines for curbside yard waste pickup:
•Set-out limit is 2 cubic yards or less
◦Two cubic yards is approximately twelve 30-gallon containers or bags

•Use your own cans, boxes, bags or other containers to store your yard waste
•Each container cannot exceed 50 pounds
•Limbs and branches must be less than 4 feet long and 6 inches in diameter
•Yard waste must be bundled, neatly stacked, or placed in a yard waste container
•Yard waste must be placed within 10 feet of the curb

The County has contracted a 3rd party vendor to assist with larger limbs and heavier tree material (stumps, trunks, etc.) to be removed from the curb. However, this may take several weeks as they could not specify when the trucks would be in Arbor Greene. Please reach out to Hillsborough County with any other concerns regarding Republic Services at (813) 272-5680. Press “0” to report a problem with service, otherwise follow the prompts.

For any other CDD related questions or concerns, please contact the CDD offices at (813) 991-9226, ext. 3.

Kindest regards,
